Viewing Exceptions

In the bottom menu bar, select 'Positive Pay' to start viewing and decisioning Check and ACH exceptions.

Sections on this screen are separated by Check and ACH Exceptions.

Note the date and account associated with the transaction.

Locate and select the transaction you want to approve.

Viewing Exceptions

CHECKS: You can now review the details of the Check Exceptions.

Click the "eye" icon to view the front and back of your check for further review.

This will display an image of the written check, so you can review the details and how the check was cleared.

Review details of both the front and back of the check so you can determine whether or not to approve this Check Exception.

Decisioning Check Exceptions

Review your check details and images.

After the details have been reviewed, click ‘Make a Decision' to decide whether to approve or return.

The Confirmation screen will display the details of the exception item.

Check out the new information available:

• The date of the decision on the exception

• The decision made on the exception

• The user who entered the decision

• The reason for the exception

• Number of approvals the exception has received

Review ACH details. Make a Decision whether to Pay or Return the ACH.
