Manually Installing WebScan

In the Help menu navigation drop down, select Download WebScan.

The program download will show at the bottom left of your screen or in File Explorer. Once the download is complete, select the arrow and choose Open.

Depending on your User Account Control (UAC) setting, you may be prompted to allow the WebScan install application to make changes to your device. Select Yes to continue.

Installation:

Welcome to WebScan setup. Select Next.
Leave the default folder and select Next.
Confirm installation and click Next.

The following post-install config window will open. The Update URL and Remote Domain URL should populate by default. Select Next.

A second post-install config confirmation window will open, after it confirms everything, select OK.

NOTE: Some screen resolutions make it difficult to see the OK button. In these cases, it is okay to click the X at the top of this window once the config has completed.

WebScan will then start and you can select Close to finish the installation.

Finally, log into the Remote Deposit Capture website and attempt to scan.

Manually Updating WebScan

Select the arrow to show icons.

Select Origin Domain Settings from the Setting Type drop down menu.

Right Click on the WebScan icon and select Settings.

Enter the new URL under the Remote Domain URL and select Add Domain.

Select Update once the new URL displays in the lower list.

A window will display indicating that WebScan must restart for the changes to take effect. Select Yes to confirm the application restart.
