Once your ZEscrow profile is set up, authorized users will receive an email to complete their enrollment. Click on the unique link in the email to continue.
You will be prompted to create a password. You will use this password to log into ZEscrow going forward.
From the Organization dashboard, the user will initiate the opening of a new subaccount by clicking on “New” and then “New Subaccount”.
Enter a unique “Account Name/ID” in order to easily identify the account from the dashboard. This is typically used as the “nickname” of the subaccount. Designate the type of beneficiary, country of citizenship, and assign the subaccount to a folder (optional).
Select one of two options for providing the required W-9 information needed for tax-ownership and reporting purposes.
If the Individual beneficiary is not a resident of the United States, please upload a W8-BEN form.
Monthly statements are available securely within the ZEscrow platform for each property and their related sub-accounts. Statements include a high-level summary of your property's holding account balance and transaction activity and details for each sub-account account.
To view your statements, navigate to your property's dashboard and the ‘Documents’ section on the bottom right-side of the page. Statements are available from the day you enroll in ZEscrow.
To view available reports through ZEscrow, click on “Reports” in the left-side panel.
Once the report that you would like to view has been selected, input a date range as needed and then click on the “Export CSV” button to download the data.
Here are the types of reports available:
Subaccount Activity Report: Reporting for your Organization on sub details that includes balance, and interest.
Subaccounts Balance Report: Reporting for your Organization on transactions, balance and interest based on the date range selected.
Transaction Report: Reporting for your Organization on all transaction level data for the specified date range that can be used to audit and track transactions.
In ZEscrow, navigate to the sub-account you wish to close. When the sub-account's detail page is open, click on the three (3) dots on the upper right of the screen and select ‘Close Account’.
You will be directed to a new screen to review the sub-account closure details and include an optional memo. Click ‘Close Account’ to initiate the closeout.
Note: The closure will not be recognized as complete by the system until the funds have successfully transferred back to the Master account the following business day.
